CAPE Terms of Service

These terms establish the basic rules for creating and using a CAPE account. The business is responsible for the accuracy of its information, users, customers, pricing, contracts, taxes and compliance with applicable laws.

Free trial and memberships

When a free trial is available, the business may use CAPE during the displayed trial period without providing a card. When the trial ends, an active membership may be required to continue using protected features.

Account responsibility

The owner must protect their password, control who has access to the business and keep employee, contractor and administrator permissions current.

Business and customer data

The business is responsible for having authorization to enter, store and use customer, employee and operational information in CAPE.

Payments and external services

Features that use external providers, including payment processors, email, maps and other services, may be subject to those providers’ terms and availability.

Acceptable use

CAPE may not be used for fraud, unauthorized access, malware distribution, system abuse or illegal activity.

Availability and changes

CAPE may update features, security, pricing, memberships or these terms. Material changes should be communicated reasonably when applicable.

This document is an operational baseline for CAPE registration and should be reviewed by legal counsel before a broad commercial launch.
